ARC provides recovery consulting and coordination. It is not an emergency medical, psychiatric or law-enforcement service.

Immediate safety sequence

What to do first

  1. Contact the appropriate emergency service

    When there is an immediate risk to life or safety, contact the appropriate emergency service without waiting for ARC to respond.

  2. Follow emergency instructions

    Share clear current information with the responder and follow their instructions. Stay with the person only when it is safe to do so.

  3. Use ARC after urgent help is underway

    Once immediate safety is being handled, ARC can help the family consider assessment, intervention, treatment placement or recovery structure.

The confidential assessment is not monitored as an emergency channel and should never delay urgent help.

After urgent help

ARC can help structure the next recovery decision.

Once immediate safety is being handled, contact ARC to discuss assessment, intervention planning, treatment placement or a recovery accountability framework. ARC will not replace the emergency or clinical provider.
